alhamdulillah~ (berita baik)
yihaaaaaa~! :p ngehehe...

dengar sini orang kampung! aku da lulus interview TESL hari tu. *chicken dance*

ops...seems like something is not right. ehem2... (tukar tekak London)
well well... i was grateful to be selected (cehcehceh...**background music**) as UiTM student... :p
i think i'm going. since i'm not interested in Science course offered by Matrikulasi Johor.




and this entry is on how to pass an interview.... :)


but first of all, the following is what had happened that day. (10 Apr 2010)



Last month, me and my father went to UiTM Shah Alam to attend an interview. (bunyi karangan masa kecik2 dulu) i mean, i'm the one who need to see the panel. my father just sent me there lah. takkan dia da 40 lebih nak join apply course asasi TESL pulak. kosmetik betul. :p

i was late. (benda biasa untuk aku. teringat masa duduk asrama dulu tiap pagi pun kene hon dengan atuk bas baru kelam kabut. -off topik doh-)
then kelam kabut siap2, mandi, sikat rambut, syampu badan dan subuh gajah.. dah tu sesat pulak nak cari Fakulti Pendidikan. haru betul ayah tak tau jalan. -.-"

bila sampai2 suka hati terus nak naik bangunan tak nak baca pape yang da tampal kat papan kenyataan..

suddenly ade kakak tegur...

"dik, datang untuk interview TESL ke?"

"errr...haah."

"da mula da dik written test kat dewan. pergi cepat."

(jalan angkat kain baju kurung tinggi2 tak pedulik orang dah.)


terus duduk dalam dewan tuh sambil mengah2.
dapat je kertas, alamak! da lupa idea semalam buat karangan 350 words. tak baik tipu Fad.kau da la tak buat pape pun sebenarnye. -.-" siap tengok TV malam tu gelak macam hantu konon2 boleh guna dadu nak jawab soalan panel. bukan nak poyo. atau bajet terror. tapi memang tak buat pape sebab tak teringat pulak ade written test. adeh! (rasa macam ade batu jatuh atas kepala)
argh! gedegang je la. hell to grammar. janji orang paham kan? :p

written test tu macam soalan spm doh. siap dengan reading hypertension comprehension, grammar la, vocabulory and essay kat bahagian belakang. the title is how to reduce the number of abonded babies & dumping babies?
apa aku merepek haram jadah pun aku tak hengat.dah. lol~







habis je written test tu maka naiklah aku ke bangunan yang over naik dulu tadi before pergi written test tu. :p
aku dapat tempat dekat panel 2. and guess what, my name was at the bottom! second last to be called. tapi tak boleh la nak salahkan ibu mengandung sebab letak nama aku mula huruf S kan? :')


sambung balik. sampai la giliran aku.

assamekom! (style nabil raja lawak. siap angkat tangan, tunduk kepala sikit.)
can i come in? (da masuk baru tanya.)

lepas segala fail dokumen sijil2 dari tadika sampai Form5 bagi kat panel, aku pun duduk la kat kerusi yang dia sediakan.


masa duduk : teringat Teacher Ruzaimah kata, "you have to be confident. show them your personality. be friendly."
effect : aku bagi senyuman paling manis stok lebih gula boleh kena kencing manis. :D **smile ear to ear**



panel 1 : ok. can we start now?

me : yes. **confident.angguk kepala.senyum maintain lebar**

panel 1 : describe yourself. your family, your interest.

me : my name ...... i stay at ...... i play guitar & a fan of music. my parents was separated since i was 15 and i stay with my mom. i'm the eldest from 3 siblings.

panel : oh. ok. so, why TESL? why not other courses?

me : because i want to be a teacher. an English teacher. i mean a good teacher. :) **smiling with shining eyes** (gila selenge jawab pendek2. padahal boleh jawab dalam 1 ayat penuh je. siap gaya tangan ok.)

panel 1 : **angguk2** what makes a teacher good? you said you want to be a good teacher right?

me : in my opinion, a good teacher is one who can attract their students to love the subject, enjoy studying the subject. and of course a good teacher is knowledgeable. sporting. nice appearance.

panel 1 : **angguk2** what about your previous teacher? is she a good teacher?

me : yes. definitely.

panel 1 : why?

me : she makes me love the subject. a lot. i enjoyed studying in her class.

then dia tanya macam2 pasal teacher lama tu. nama dia la, sekolah mana la, apa teknik mengajar dia la. aku cerita je. tapi ade edit2 biar smart sikit. hihi ;)

panel 1 : do you think yo can be as good as her?

me : of course. why not? **fulamak ai. confident siol! ye la kau tuh**

panel 1 : (pandang panel 2. waa...of course...tak tau lak aku maksudnya apa. tapi reaksi dia buat aku nak ketawa guling2) you said you play the guitar just now? can you sing?

me : ya. quite well. **confident gila kau!**

panel 1 : pandang panel 2. wa. quite well huh?. **reaksi begitu sekali lagi** ok then. prove to us. prove that you are a good singer.

me : ok. no problem. can i stand? (amboi kau. semangat gila!) LOL

panel 1 : english song ok.

me : of course.

i gotta keep try (sambung sikit lagi padahal dia dah angkat tangan)



panel 1 : ok. its good to know someone can sing. its a package actually.

me : duduk balik. senyummmmmm jeeee.... monolog dalaman-alamak. tak sedap ke dia memang da tak nafikan ke'over'an aku tadi? rasa suara takde pun kantoi. ke forceto aku tak cukup bagus?

panel 1 : now lets talk about education. who is the minister of higher education?

me : (err...alamak! tadi budak kat luar tu dah cakap. ape ek nama dia. **cuba ingat balik**) urm..if i'm not mistakin its Khalid............................**paused sekejap**

panel 1 : got some Khalid Khalid la?

me : ya! got some Khalid Khalid. not sure what Khalid. hehehehe **senyum kambing**

panel 1 : who is the minister of education?

me : Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. (terang jelas dan nyata. sah? ^^)

panel 1 : good. so, before we end up this interview, do you have anything to ask us?

me : oh ya. i want to know the actually pathway for this course. is there any postgraduated programme?

panel tu pun terangkan la kat aku panjang lebar. (muka aku da jadi serious masa nih. **fokus**


ha. macam tu lah ceritanya. nasib la dia tak suruh aku cerita pasal current issue ke hape. boleh muntah darah aku.

so mesti da tau kan macam mana nak pass interview? confident is the most important of all. do not afraid to talk and be yourself. ^_^



teacher Ruzaimah pesan.........

"bukan semua boleh jadi guru. its a career yang tak glamor but year life will be tenang, senang sebab kita tolong orang. it an investment dunia n akhirat. teaching tak make you a millionaire but it give you a great satisfaction in your work."
